The anticipated United Nations 75th anniversary Summit in 2020 provides an opportunity to take stock of achievements, renew commitments to the Charter’s purposes and principles and consider effective measures to strengthen the organization.

The Summit will also affect expectations and planning for a number of multilateral, “+5” conferences and UN processes in 2020, including the NPT Review Conference.
