Cross-Regional Discussion on Inequality and Financing for Development (FfD)

On March 4, FES co-hosted an off-the-record discussion with UN diplomats on addressing inequality within the Financing for Development (FfD) process.

March 4, 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM | FES New York

Alongside NYU's Center on International Cooperation (CIC) and Oxfam, FES New York hosted a roundtable discussion on addressing inequality within the Financing for Development (FfD) process.

This closed-door session, held under Chatham House Rule, gathered Second Committee delegates for an open dialogue on economic inequality and its impact on development financing. The discussion aimed to deepen understanding, explore key challenges, and identify strategies to enhance the FfD process. The event contributed valuable insights ahead of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4), supporting efforts to shape more ambitious and inclusive development policies.
