After a 2-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the FES Fall Academy is finally back - in person. Under the title “The New World Disorder? The Prospects for Multilateral Responses in a World in Crisis”, this year's FES Fall Academy took place in New York City from Monday, November 7th until Friday, November 11th, 2022.

The Fall Academy is a week-long training organized by the FES Office in New York. Participants are young policymakers from FES' worldwide partner network. The 2022 Academy took place against the backdrop of several unfolding global crises (climate change, war in Ukraine, post-Covid economic recovery, and cost hikes for food and energy). Participants received first-hand information from international political experts, diplomats, and UN officials on how these challenges are addressed by international diplomacy and through cooperation at the United Nations.
