Reforming International Taxation

This roundtable co-organized by FES New York, ICRICT, and UNDP brought together eminent economists, tax experts, diplomats, UN representatives, and other stakeholders to deliberate on the challenges and prospects of global tax reform. The dialogue focused on reformative pathways, potentially steering towards a more equitable global tax system, aligning international financial frameworks with the diverse needs and capacities of all nations. During the meeting, the findings of the recently published EU Tax Observatory Global Tax Evasion Report were presented, which shows not only the inequities and failures of the current tax regime but explains how we might move to a better system.
