As traditional powers step back from multilateral commitments, new coalitions of middle powers are emerging as critical bridge-builders in an increasingly fractured international system. While these countries individually possess economic resources, diplomatic influence, and political legitimacy, their real potential lies in coordinating their strengths into unified coalitions that can amplify collective impact.

This high-level roundtable brings together ministers, diplomats, central bank governors, academic and think tank experts and members of civil society to explore how middle powers can move from singular efforts to strategic partnerships to reshape development cooperation, address the $4 trillion SDG financing gap, champion institutional reforms, and drive progress on debt restructuring, development and climate finance, and global governance.
