MSC Side Event: A Land for All 02/14/2025 23:00 to 01/01/1970 00:00 - The ongoing violence in Israel-Palestine underscores the urgent need for a renewed two-state solution, as outlined in the “A Land for All” proposal. February 15, 1:30-3:00 PM | Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich, Germany The unprecedented violence in Israel-Palestine and Lebanon over the past years highlights the urgent need for a just and sustainable solution to the conflict. The current ceasefire is essential, but it is only a first step towards achieving a just and lasting peace. A political vision for the post-Gaza War era that acknowledges the interdependence of Israelis and Palestinians is missing from current debates. Yet, the two-state solution envisioned by the Oslo process 30 years ago has grown increasingly misaligned from current realities. More than ever, the groundwork for an updated, relevant two-state solution is needed. At this year’s Munich Security Conference, the International Peace Institute (IPI) and FES New York jointly hosted a roundtable to discuss the proposal of A Land for All, which envisions a confederation of two states on one homeland. Program Opening Remarks: Christoph Heusgen, Chairman of the Munich Security Conference Speakers: May Pundak, Israeli Co-Executive Director of A Land For All - Two States One Homeland (ALFA) Omar M. Dajani, Palestinian Co-Chair of A Land For All - Two States One Homeland (ALFA) Joint Board Moderator: Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, President and CEO, International Peace Institute (IPI)
