Networking Across Boards and Borders: Strategies for Advancing Gender-Responsive Social Protection, Access to Public Services and Sustainable Infrastructure

March 11, 2019 | Roger Smith Hotel

On the occasion of the 63rd session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, the New York Offices of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung, together with Global Policy Forum, MADRE and Regions Refocus, jointly hosted an international evening reception.

Honoring the current centenaries of Women’s suffrage in some countries and the fight for equal participation of women over the last decades all over the world, this gathering offered an opportunity for participants to engage in informal discussions on this year’s CSW themes and reforms for gender equality, exchange on best practices, and networking across boards and borders with the intention to strengthen international solidarity for women’s empowerment.
